Bethel voters have given a resounding Yes to the Bethel School District bond measure.
The 66% Yes vote means Bethel will be able to replace its oldest school, Cascade Middle School, which opened in 1955.
A new Vocational Education Center will be built at Willamette High School and Vocational Ed classrooms added at Kalapuya High School.
Safety measures will be enhanced, student textbooks and computers will be updated, roofs and siding repaired, elementary school covered playgrounds installed, and much more.
For Clear Lake specifically, this means we will install a cover over part of our playground for rainy day recess, computers and textbooks will be updated, and safety and security enhancements will be made.
The Bethel bond will not increase the current tax rate as it will replace older bonds that are being paid off.
Thank you Bethel voters for your continued support!
