Hybrid Learning
We are finishing our second week of Hybrid, in-person learning and overall it is going very well. I want to thank our Clear Lake community for your support and patience during this transition. It has been wonderful to have students back in our building at last.
Here are a few quick reminders:
- Due to our health and safety guidelines, we are not able to have students on campus before 8:30 AM. (If you arrive with your student before this time, please have them wait with you until 8:30.)
- Please wear a mask and stay spaced six feet apart from others when picking up or dropping off your child.
- If your child arrives after 9:00 AM, they will need to check-in at the office before going to class.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
We are offering another opportunity for parent-teacher conferences this year. You are invited to join our teachers for conferences during the week of April 26th to talk about how your student is doing, revisit the goals you may have set during your last conference, and check in with your child’s teacher about any continued support your student may need.
Teachers will be emailing home a conference sign-up link shortly. Our teachers may also reach out to families requesting a conference to talk specifically about the best ways Clear Lake can support your student learner. If you have any trouble using the conference link, please contact your child’s teacher or our office at 541-689-0511.
*Due to conferences, there will be NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, April 28th.*
Clear Lake School Pictures
Clear Lake will have picture days on April 26th and April 29th to accommodate both A and B Hybrid cohorts.
Students receiving online-only classes will also be able to come to the school Gym on either of those days between the hours of 12:30 and 4:00 PM to have their pictures taken. Please wear a mask and follow all social distancing guidelines. Students will be able to remove masks for pictures.
Picture ordering packets will be sent home next week.

Clear Lake PTO
Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is meeting Thursday, April 15, at 6:00 PM.

Free COVID Testing
Here is an opportunity to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Cascade Middle School will be a host site for free COVID testing this Saturday, April 10th. The free testing will continue to be available at Cascade every other Saturday through August. Click here for more information.
