Dear Clear Lake Families,
I am reaching out today with some news about the upcoming 2022-23 school year.
Beginning next year, I will no longer be the Principal here at Clear Lake, as I have chosen to return to my former position as the Assistant Principal at Shasta Middle School.
While I am sad to be stepping away from this amazing place, it is for a very important reason. Many of you know that I have three young children at home. I am stepping back to focus on my family while my kids are still young. If there is anything the pandemic has taught me, it is that every moment with my family is precious, and I do not want to miss out on these formative years with my children.
Clear Lake is a wonderful place and I have truly loved my time here. We have caring teachers, amazing students, and a supportive community. It has been a privilege to serve all of you in this capacity and I will absolutely miss it.
My years at Clear Lake have provided me great perspective on what our students in elementary school experience, and I believe that this perspective will allow me to be a more effective middle school administrator. I’m excited to remain a part of this community – just across the parking lot – and to welcome our Clear Lake students to Shasta when it is their time to head to middle school.
Thank you for allowing me to serve as Principal here at Clear Lake – it has been a privilege to do so.
I am always available to chat about any questions or concerns you may have – please feel free to reach out.
Go Bears, and Go Thunderbirds.
Evan Rindy,
Principal, Clear Lake Elementary
