Additional transfer window now open for 2022-23 transfer requests.
Bethel students who want to attend a school other than their neighborhood school, as well as out-of-district students who want to attend a Bethel school next fall (2022-2023 school year) can apply for in-district or interdistrict transfers through May 27.
The district is opening up another transfer window so that families will know sooner whether their student’s transfer request has been accepted or denied. This also allows the district to better plan for the upcoming school year.
Those who submit transfer paperwork between April 1 and May 27 can expect to hear back from the district regarding their transfer status before the last day of school on Friday, June 17.
Families who miss this transfer window may still submit transfer paperwork through August 15. Summer transfer requests will be processed and families will be informed by Friday, Sept. 2.
There is no guarantee a transfer request will be approved. Out-of-district students who transfer into Bethel are not eligible for bus transportation. Learn more about transfers at www.bethel.k12.or.us/bsdfamilies/transfers/.

Los estudiantes de Bethel que deseen asistir a una escuela que no sea la escuela de su vecindario, así como los estudiantes de fuera del distrito que deseen asistir a una escuela de Bethel el próximo otoño (año escolar 2022-2023) pueden solicitar transferencias dentro del distrito o interdistritales hasta el 27 de mayo.
El distrito está abriendo otra ventana de transferencia para que las familias sepan antes si la solicitud de transferencia de su estudiante ha sido aceptada o denegada. Esto también le permite al distrito planificar mejor para el próximo año escolar.
Aquellos que presenten documentos de transferencia entre el 1 de abril y el 27 de mayo pueden esperar recibir una respuesta del distrito con respecto a su estado de transferencia antes del último día de clases el viernes 17 de junio.
Las familias que pierdan esta ventana de transferencia aún pueden presentar documentos de transferencia hasta el 15 de agosto. Las solicitudes de transferencia de verano se procesarán y las familias serán informadas antes del viernes 2 de septiembre.
