Dear Parent/Guardians,
During the second week of February (Feb 8-12) you are invited to join our teachers for a conference to talk about how your student is doing in school, revisit the goals you may have set during your last conference, share concerns, and discuss upcoming thematic units. Your teachers will be sending information to you in the next couple days regarding conference scheduling. If you are interested in having a conference with your teacher please respond back to them by next Wednesday, Feb. 3. After receiving your request, your teacher will reach back out to confirm a date and time for you to conference together. Teachers may also reach out to families requesting a conference to talk specifically about best ways Prairie Mountain can support your student learner.
Here are some important dates and information for you to know and mark on your calendars:
- Friday, February 5th there will be a schedule change for all K-8 students at Prairie Mountain:
o All K-5 students will be asked to attend their grade level’s PM Zoom session. Prairie Mountain K-5 teachers will be using the AM part of the day to plan/prepare and/or hold conferences with families. Teachers will reach out to all families with the specific time of their PM Zoom session with the Zoom link.
o All 6-8 students will not have 5th and 6th periods. Students will not be required to attend and will not be marked absent for 5th and 6th period on Friday, Feb. 5th. Prairie Mountain 6-8 grade teachers will be using this part of the day to plan/prepare and/or hold conferences with families. Teachers will send a reminder to all students and families.
- February 8-12th Conference Week: some teachers may schedule conferences with families during the week of Feb. 16-19 as needed.
- February 10th: No school for students (conferences)
- February 15th: No school for students as it is Presidents Day

Durante la segunda semana de febrero (8-12 de febrero), está invitado a unirse con nuestros maestros en una conferencia para hablar sobre cómo le está yendo a su estudiante en la escuela, revisar las metas que pudo haber establecido durante su última conferencia, compartir inquietudes y hablar sobre próximas unidades temáticas. Sus maestros le enviarán información en los próximos días sobre la programación de la conferencia. Si está interesado en tener una conferencia con su maestro, por favor responda antes del próximo miércoles 3 de febrero. Después de recibir su solicitud, su maestro se comunicará con usted para confirmar una fecha y hora para que puedan reunirse juntos. Los maestros también pueden comunicarse con las familias que solicitan una conferencia para hablar específicamente sobre las mejores formas en que Prairie Mountain puede apoyar a su alumno.
Aquí hay algunas fechas e información importantes para que las conozca y las marque en sus calendarios:
- Viernes 5 de febrero habrá un cambio de horario para todos los estudiantes de K-8 en Prairie Mountain:

- Semana de conferencias del 8 al 12 de febrero: algunos maestros puede que tengan que programar conferencias con las familias durante la semana del 16 al 19 de febrero, según sea necesario.
- 10 de febrero: No hay clases para estudiantes (conferencias)
- 15 de febrero: No hay clases para los estudiantes ya que es el Día de los Presidentes
