March 10 meeting
The Bethel School District and the classified bargaining team held their second bargaining session this week and continued to have productive, collaborative conversations. The teams reached tentative agreements on two articles, including reduction in force and infant care leave. The session was productive and collaborative, and both teams continue to make steady progress at the table. The next session has been scheduled for March 31.
First meeting – Feb. 10
BACE and district representatives held their first bargaining session Feb.10 where both teams exchanged proposals. Two more sessions have been schedueled for Feb. 24 and March 10. We value the important contributions of our clasifies staff and look forward to working collaboratively with BACE to reach a responsible, sustainable agreement.
Gearing Up for Classified Bargaining
The Bethel School District is beginning the successor bargaining process with our classified employees and our partners at the Bethel Association of Classified Employees (BACE). Initial bargaining meetings are expected to take place prior to February 15. We value the important contributions of our classified staff and look forward to working collaboratively with BACE to reach a responsible, sustainable agreement. As bargaining dates are scheduled, they will be posted here, along with ongoing updates and information throughout the process.
