Bethel's Summer Reading Program is in full swing, and this year, 285 students are spending their mornings building confidence and strengthening their reading skills with the support of 46 dedicated staff members.
Designed for students in current grades K–5 who have been identified through reading assessments as benefiting from additional support, the program provides targeted instruction in reading, language comprehension, and phonics through engaging, small-group learning.
The classrooms are full of energy, curiosity, and encouragement. Students start their day with breakfast, spend the morning learning alongside caring educators, enjoy lunch together, and head home at 12:30 after a morning of meaningful growth.
Programs like this make a lasting difference. Every summer, we see students make tremendous progress, with many returning to school ready to thrive and no longer needing the same level of reading support.
We're so proud of our students, families, and staff for making the most of summer learning! |
